ELECTION 2013

BARUGANAN: "MY CRITERIA, ELECTION 2013"

Each voter should evaluate candidates by establishing and applying their own criteria for selecting public officials. One can assess candidates based on their qualifications, experience, campaign speeches, their stand on certain issues, campaign materials, and even track campaign promises.

If only I can vote this election, I should consider the following factors to at least determine the most likely:

1. The candidate who live a modest lifestyle.
2. The candidate with no unexplained wealth.
3. The candidate who is God fearing.
4. The candidate who did not and will not engage in vote buying.
5. The candidate who did not and will not practice intimidation, violence and other undue influence.
6. The candidate who kept and will keep their election promises.
7. The candidate with a track record of genuine service.
8. The candidate with no controversy involving corruption.
9. The candidate who practiced transparency and accountability when he was in office.
10. The candidate whose advocacy speaks of the people, and for the people.
11. The candidate who serves and will serve the common people, share their interest and aspiration.
12. The candidate who has firm conviction to his political belief.
13. The candidate who is not like a butterfly, hopping from one political flower to the other in the pretense of pollinating service to the people.
14. The candidate who is a SERVANT not a MASTER… a LEADER not a BOSS!

CHOOSE WISELY AND RESPONSIBLY!
